The Elizabethan Lodge is a boutique Wedding & Function Venue, set on 3 acres in Blackburn North in Melbourne’s leafy Eastern suburbs.
We are known for our magnificent private Gardens filled with seasonal flowers and foliage including bluebells, roses, English box hedges, clivia, hellebores, climbing ivy, lophomyrtus and more.
The Elizabethan Lodge is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD and is easily accessed via the Eastern Freeway.

Our team of wedding professionals have decades of industry experience and as the Elizabethan Lodge has been owned by the same family for over 30 years, your Wedding or Function will be in safe hands with us.
Many couples who visit our Venue are surprised by our magnificent private Gardens and our ample Wedding and Event facilities, with no need to travel far on your Wedding day.
We take great pride in our cuisine and our team of talented Chefs have designed a seasonal, fresh menu featuring produce and meats from local suppliers, for you and your guests to enjoy.
Whilst we host many Weddings each year, we also delight in catering to Baptisms, Engagement Parties, Anniversary Parties, Birthday Parties of all Ages, Communions, Corporate Functions, Gala Balls, School Formals, Baby Showers; Bridal Showers; Proposals and life’s other celebrations.

As our private Gardens are not visible to the public, many of our guests are surprised and delighted by our magnificent fairy lights, vibrant flowers, custom designed enchanted aisle, wrought iron birdcage, stone water feature and picturesque bridge.
Photographers love our colourful Gardens, vibrant seasonal flowers, fairy lit willow and blossom trees, ivy covered brickwork, enchanted aisle and bluestone loveseat, as well as our Photography Studio and Dining Room.

We provide both indoor and outdoor options for your Wedding Ceremony, including our beautifully lit sandstone Chapel, with timber floors, delicate chandeliers and lead light details, and our intimate outdoor ceremony area, centred around our classic Gazebo.
For your Wedding Reception, our renovated Pre-Dinner Drinks Room and Bar, complete with stone fireplace and polished timber floors is the perfect location for your guests to mingle and enjoy refreshments whilst you complete your Wedding Photography.
Our stunning Dining Room is beautifully decorated in neutral gold tones with soft fairy lights, a crystal chandelier and overlooks a private, magical Garden with a stone water feature.
We offer a generous, all inclusive Wedding Package, including everything that you need to host a magnificent Event at our venue. Our simple price per head with a minimum guest number gives you certainty of the cost of your wedding, with no hidden fees or extras. Our Wedding Package caters to between 70 & 180 guests.
We also offer affordable options for Microweddings, Mid-week Weddings, Winter Weddings and Weddings booked up to 3 months in advance. Our Microwedding Package caters to between 20 – 60 guests.
Our convenient Accommodation complex houses 40 guest suites, accommodating a total of up to 100 guests onsite.
